Situated in the south east of the island, at Anse Bambou and true to its name, Le Barachois is a fish pond with an array of thatched stone and timber buildings in traditional island style arranged around it.

 Here, you can enjoy a hearty meal of home grown products with beautiful fresh seafood direct from the pond during your wonderful island vacation in one of its idyllic guest houses. Enchanted by the nature reserve that surrounds Le Barachois, the visitor finds a multitude of nature trails leading through the mangrove forest, offering insights into the unique plant and animal life that takes place there.

 And in the evening it will be a pleasure to return to cosy quarters, take a shower and enjoy quiet moments on the terrace or in the restaurant while sipping a cocktail before tucking in on one of the delicious local dishes served.
