How you be Involved?

Sign up as a member of one of the involved organisations. Contribute to and support their programs and conservation efforts. As a member you will receive up-to-date information about their projects and activities; like planned cleanup-days, reports on results of their projects and volunteer opportunities.

For companies in the travel or tourist industry, membership of environmental organisations as well as support and implementation of environmental guidelines with regular updates help promote Mauritius as an ECO destination. And with the provided and updated information on hand, it becomes easier to set up ECO / conservation trips for clients interested in alternative vacations. Volunteers

Anyone interested, but specifically with a background as teachers, biologists, graphic artists or writers etc are greatly welcome to participate in the various projects of the organisations as volunteers. Each organisation fosters projects that include volunteer work, some if which can be combined with a vacation and others which need commitment up to 6 months.

Since the participants are non-profit and non-governmental organisations, any form of donation to support their work and conservation programs is appreciated. Should you wish to arrange a donation, we recommend you to contact the respective organisation directly.

As today people are more aware of what they eat and ready to pay more for ecological products -why wouldn't they be ready to do the same for ecological vacation?
